The 71st
Annual
StateFlorida
Public Personnel Association Conference will be held at the
Renaissance Orlando Resort at
SeaWorld. The
Pre-conference Academy & Seminars are all day on Saturday,
July 21st and Sunday morning July 22nd, 2007. The conference begins
on the evening of July 22nd with the President’s
Welcome Reception and ends at noon on Wednesday, July 25th, 2007. Both pre-conference and conference registration forms
are available at the right of this page

Our pre-conference
topics this year are the FPPA Academy (for those just
beginning their certifications process); Talent Acquisition:
Recruiting and Retaining the Best; and FPPA Masters Program.

In addition to the pre-conference workshops, the
general conference is offering a very strong and informative
series of general and concurrent sessions on current HR
topics. Included you will
find both the pre-conference and conference programs. Please keep in mind that some adjustments to the
programs may be necessary as we get closer to the conference
date.

Our conference
theme this year is “High Stakes HR”. Dress for the conference is
business casual, for the dinner/casino/dance please wear your
casino attire and be prepared to play and dance the night
away.

Room rates at the Renaissance Resort
start at $129.00 per night. When making reservations make sure
you tell the reservation desk personnel that the rate is under
the FPPA conference.
In addition, parking is free from July
21-25th if attending the FPPA
activates.
Valet parking is available if you
desire.
